I am a native New Yorker living in Solana Beach. I relocated from Manhattan to San Diego mostly because my family lives here, but also because I prefer the California lifestyle. My day-to-day consists of strong family ties, a busy but fulfilling career at a large law firm, and spending my spare time volunteering for a local German Shepherd rescue. I am an uber-homebody, love to cook and create in the kitchen, and love to travel (Big Sur and Italy being my current favorite places). I've avoided the on-line dating scene because I tend to believe in the natural and organic approach to meeting new people; however, I have not met one new person in over six years that way so why not try getting on-line to see what's out there.

I appreciate and get along best with confident people. I am naturally drawn to people that are self-assured and comfortable in their own skin, and are not looking for someone to help "make them complete." I have been single for over 15 years and am extremely comfortable in my skin. I need to be with a man who is not afraid to take control and make decisions, but is also sensitive enough to let go and experience intimate moments. If I had to break it down to a few things that I look for, it would be (1) respect and love of one's parents, (2) a compassionate and loving heart toward animals, and (3) an honest and nurturing relationship with yourself.

Bottom line -- I'm a New Yorker -- at times I can be stubborn, controlling and completely self-indulgent. But I am also honest, straight-forward and very loving, and the only baggage I carry is the purse that holds my wallet and car keys. And if it matters, I drive an Audi.
